Characteristic value not ALPHA-converted in InfoSet

Hi,

when executing a query based on an infoSet i get the following error message:

"Characteristic value '100004' of characteristic XYZ is not ALPHA-converted."

However this value is not present in the underlying DSO or InfoObject.

The InfoObject mentioned in the error message has Conversion Routine ALPHA and Output length 18.

Any idea what could be wrong here?
