The answers are not difficult.

• You have chosen a right exit (IMRC0001) for the task.
• The code logic is based on the Measurement Range we specify while creating the Measuring Point (IK01).

• Means when the Measuring document reading (IK11) does not fall in the above specified range, a Notification should trigger.

Techniques for Triggering Notification

• Very convenient method can be Batch input lines (guided by SHDB recording). To avoid repetition of my earlier reply to this query I am giving you the discussion here which gives you clues about code using this method.
• The Alternative is to use these FMs in sequence.
  • BAPI_ALM_NOTIF_CREATE
  • BAPI_ALM_NOTIF_SAVE
  • BAPI_TRANSACTION_COMMIT
