If I've understood correctly:

- you want to have the emails appear to come from a different email address   but

- you don't want to change the user (WF-BATCH) who is sending the emails  and

- you don't want to change the email address of the user sending the emails   and

- you don't want to change the steps sending the emails

Sounds impossible to me.

Why don't you want to change the email address associated with WF-BATCH? That is done in 2 seconds, problem solved.
