Internal order are associated to Business Object BUS2075, other types or order are associated to other BO.

I suppose you called the BAPI with some maintenance, production or any not allowed type of order which must be read with another BAPI like BAPI_ALM_ORDER_GET_DETAIL.

Hint: Check AUFK-AUTYP must be 01 or 02 for an internal order
