compatible unit design upload

Hello Experts,

My requirement is to upload legacy compatible unit design data to SAP.

TCODE is /***/DESIGN. but for this i don't have IDoc or BAPI.

i can see this bapi has been used in SAP internal (Standard) program - /***/BAPI_CUDESIGN_MAINTAIN to save CU design. But before using this SAP std program does lots of processing. I can use BDC recording approach as this TCODE contains ALV custom container. Now i am stuck here.

If anybody has any idea, please help me.
