SAP FI: Inter-Company Asset Transfer-Work List Error

dear All,

This is with reference to Inter company asset transfer,

I checked in SCN and did not found right answer so posting here.

I am doing as below:

I have few assets at plant ABC/1000 (co.code)

I want to move these assets from Plant ABC/1000 to Plant XYZ/1001 (another co.code).

I have tried below:

I created work list using AR01 (released also) and executing using AR31. But system is giving an error as below:

Error in sub transient work item 'Intercompany Asset Transfer'

Message No. SWF_RUN817

Doubts:

- Do I need to create asset masters in new co.code 1001 before transferring these assets using work list?

Kindly advice to resolve the error.
